I would think that a greater feed rate would require more air and a lower feed rate less, so it seems like something is controlling the amount of air directed at the fire. Any suggestions on how to adjust the feed rate, so I can get a more complete burn of the coal. I am getting a fair amount of unburned coal falling into the ash bin.

Shouldn't the feed rate start the slow down when it reaches the thermostat's temperature? Example: When the coal stove is getting up to temperature, the feed rate goes up to 99 and it does not turn itself down. I have to go into the settings and manually turn the max rate way down to get it to slow down.
